Since our inception in 2012, we’ve done our best to wow clients with our quality workmanship and stellar HVAC customer service—and to treat our employees with dignity and respect. We work very hard on a daily business to gain the trust of our customers and employees, which is why we’re thrilled to have our efforts recognized as a 2019 recipient of the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics!

Our customers know it’s not uncommon for us to go above and beyond the scope of regular 9-to-5 service hours to rescue them from a malfunctioning furnace or a broken air conditioning system. And we don’t do this for the accolades. We do it because we truly care about each and every customer. It’s just the way we operate. From duct repair in Phoenix to air conditioning replacement in Scottsdale, we are always happy to help out our neighbors and be of service. And when it comes to our employees, we make sure that they know they are truly a part of a family.

So, when these little accomplishments are noticed, it makes us feel good. Like, really good. Which is why we are super excited about our Torch Award. After being a contender for the past three years, Larson Air Conditioning took home the gold. This award means the world to us, since it proves that our customers appreciate what we do and our employees enjoy and value their relationships with us.

Here’s how this recognition works:

Each year, the BBB recognizes companies that demonstrate an excellent level of ethics and display outstanding integrity. The businesses that are nominated need to have a strong community connection and a high level of trust among employees and customers. (Just being nominated is pretty cool, too.)

Once nominated, we were tasked with answering an online questionnaire where we had to demonstrate our commitment to ethics. The criteria included the following six categories:

  • Reinforce & Build
  • Unite the Team
  • Steer Performance
  • Treasured People
  • Enthusiastically Re-invest

Well, we must have nailed it! Because, after all the nominations and paperwork were done, an independent panel of judges reviewed each company and chose our team at Larson Air Conditioning as the winner! (Our win was in Category 2, which covers companies with 11 to 20 employees.) Check out our YouTube video below:
